Hooray!

Good evening!

Well, now is the time for a dose of images of the children's book and characters that I recently made! Big Baba Yaga is prepped for photographing now, so expect some pictures of her in a little while.

Baba Yaga Sneaky Peek

Good evening!

Continuing in the sneaky peeks vein, I thought I would give away just a little bit more before the main images are revealed. Here she is, Baba Yaga from initial design to book character 'sneakypeek'. They always change a bit, I have come to terms with that! I've been toiling recently, with many cups of tea (which I am not complaining about because I really like tea) and not enough shut eye... so hopefully the results will be worthwhile.

Oh, and the Baba Yaga puppet pictures will be up soon, too, so it's all very exciting!

Something for the Weekend

Good evening!

I won't ruin the surprise (since it's on the horizon) but I thought I would pop a few little sneaky peeks of my project up here since I promised I would. Plus I am just so excited about it myself!
Watch this space, dear reader.

Another dollop of faces

Good evening!

I've been doing a fair bit of uploading and thought I would spread these development images over a few posts, that ought to keep everyone busy. They're looking rather lovely painted, but that's going to be a set of pictures for another day.
I'm so excited by the pre-order of the new Lunartik figure- it's just my cup of tea! Have a look here... http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=DMC11135&mode=retail
I'd also like to introduce you to my very lovely studio assistant, who today smelled a lot like prawns and wouldn't keep out of my plastic bags.

Sculptastic goings on

Good evening!

There's been no resting on laurels of late, and it's all go-go-go in my sunny studio! I thought it was about time I posted some images to show what I've been getting up to. These are only the development stages, mind. I wouldn't want to ruin any surprises that are headed this way!
The little lady is one of a series of developments from character designs I completed and featured in previous posts- this was her in the beginning and I thought it might be nice to give a small insight into how she was created. Oh, and there's a little Baba Yaga update too.

How about another morsel?

Good afternoon!

In amongst all the business of late, I produced an illustration for an exciting project. I won't reveal details of the project (it will have its own website soon so I'll post a link to it when it's up and running) but in the mean time here's a look at my small contribution.
